The facilities created by the combination of the "darmstadtium", Darmstadt’s technical university, the cultural facilities in and around Karolinenplatz, the park "Herrngarten" and the hotel will be second to none in Germany.
The 4-star hotel has 208 rooms providing a total of some 400 beds. The "Herrngarten" restaurant and the "Moller" bistro each of which has a large outdoor patio area serve a wide range of culinary delights. All rooms and suites have floor to ceiling windows ensuring that the accommodation is light and airy throughout. The rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and equipped with air-conditioning, flat screen IP TVs and W-LAN free of charge up to 250 MB Download. In the adjacent "darmstadtium" the WELCOME HOTEL DARMSTADT has at its disposal 700 of the total 18 000 m² event space to use for conferences, seminars and workshops. In the hotel itself are a further 5 conference rooms providing a total of 350 m² of floor space. The two buildings are interconnected via an underground walkway enabling guests to move freely from one to the other without getting their feet wet!
